BOOKING & PRICING
How do I book a photography session with you?
After you've completed the contact form, I will get in touch with you to initiate a discussion, and together, we'll arrange a date, time, and location.
What is your pricing structure?
I like to keep things simple and flexible. I base my rates on a few key things: the time and effort I put into your shoot, the equipment I use, and any extra services you might want. Plus, your unique vision and preferences are a part of the equation. So, whether you're looking for a budget-friendly option or a fully customized experience, we can work together to find the right price that suits your needs.
Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
There are no hidden fees, but I do provide a variety of extra services that may come with additional costs, and I'm always transparent about them.

Carmel Indiana - I mainly service the northern Indianapolis area, I am always willing to travel for a fee.

What is your photography style?
Light and airy aesthetic, creating a bright and ethereal feel in every image.
Can I request a specific style or theme for my photos?
Certainly! We're more than happy to accommodate your specific style or theme preferences for your photos. Our approach to this typically involves editing the photos in two distinct styles: one tailored for social media, and another to suit your gallery or personal collection.
Before your session, we'll schedule a discussion to understand your vision and preferences. This conversation allows us to align our creative process with your expectations, ensuring that the photos reflect the look and feel you desire. Whether it's a particular color palette, mood, or theme, your input is invaluable in tailoring the final result to your liking.
Adding this option does significantly prolong the editing process, resulting in an additional charge of 15% on top of the session's base rate. Additionally, it may extend the delivery time by one week if required.
REFUND POLICY
What is your refund policy in case of cancellation?
This is covered extensively in my contract.
BOOKING PROCESS
How far in advance should I book a session?
The timing for booking a session can vary depending on the type of session you're interested in. For smaller sessions that don't require extensive planning, such as portrait or pet sessions, it's possible to schedule them with as little as 1-4 weeks' notice. However, for larger and more elaborate sessions, like weddings, family or destination shoots, it's advisable to plan ahead and book 4-12 weeks in advance to ensure availability and proper preparation.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Do you require a deposit?
a deposit of 30% of the base rate is required. This deposit not only reserves your spot on our calendar but also contributes towards the overall cost of your session.
IMAGE DELIVERY
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
2 weeks from the session date.
In what format will I receive my photos?
You have options!

Pixieset - Online gallery platform that creates a password-protected gallery where you can view and download photos. This method offers easy access and allows you to share the gallery with friends and family.

Email - A compressed folder of digital images via email to download. However, this method may not be suitable for a large number of high-resolution images due to email file size limitations.

Google Drive: Files can be uploaded to cloud storage and provided with access to the files.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I will receive?
Limits vary, they are displayed below the session type you selected in the services section. If offered you may pay an additional $7 per image.

Can you recommend other vendors or professionals for my event?

Certainly! At this time, I only have a few recommendations for other vendors or professionals. However, I'm more than happy to share those recommendations with you and assist in any way I can to help make your event a success. If you have specific needs or preferences, please feel free to let me know, and I'll do my best to provide guidance or referrals based on my available resources.
TRAVEL & DESTINATION
Do you offer destination photography services?
I provide these services within the USA only.
What are the additional costs for travel?
All travel costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and accuracy. Several factors are taken into account, including mileage, the location of the shoot, expenses for gas or flights, hotel accommodations if necessary, tolls, and a small markup fee. Once we've had a detailed discussion about the specifics of your project and the travel requirements, I will provide a breakdown of these costs to ensure transparency and clarity.

EDITING & RETOUCHING
Do you retouch or edit the photos?
I do offer photo editing as part of my services. My editing process is aimed at achieving a light and airy aesthetic, which includes tasks such as background enhancement, blemish removal, and skin smoothing to ensure your photos look their best.

Can I request specific edits or retouching?
Let me know your preferences upfront, so I can incorporate them into the editing process. However, it's important to note that any substantial additional editing or retouching requested after the photos have been delivered will incur a fee of $3 per image.
IMAGE RIGHTS & USAGE
Who owns the rights to the photos?
Shared Copyright - This is covered in depth in my contract.
Can I use the photos for personal or commercial purposes?
Personal - Yes. Must be used as they were delivered.
Clients do not have the right to use the photos for commercial purposes without the photographer's written permission.
Do you offer prints or albums for purchase?
I do not currently offer prints or albums for purchase as part of my photography services. However, for albums I recommend shutterfly.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee or reshoot policy?
I am committed to providing you with photography services and final images that meet or exceed your expectations. Client satisfaction is my priority.

1. Communication: If you have any concerns about the delivered photos, please contact me via email within 7 days of receiving the images. I value your feedback and want to understand your specific issues.
2. Review and Assessment: I'll carefully review your concerns and assess whether they align with the initial agreement and the style discussed during our consultations.
3. Reshoot Option: If it is determined that a reshoot is necessary to address the concerns, we will offer one complimentary reshoot session. This allows me the opportunity to capture the desired images based on your feedback.
4. Timing: The reshoot session should be scheduled within 30 days of our agreement for a satisfactory guarantee or upon mutual agreement between the client and the photographer.
5. Editing and Delivery: After the reshoot session, I will edit the new images and deliver them to you within my standard delivery timeframe.
6. Additional Requests: If there are specific editing or retouching requests related to the reshoot images, please communicate them, and I'll make effort to accommodate your preferences.
7. Client Collaboration: I encourage open communication and collaboration throughout the process to ensure that the final images align with your vision and expectations.

Note: My goal is to achieve the best possible outcome, and I will do my utmost to address your concerns and provide you with outstanding photography services. Please keep in mind that the reshoot option is offered once to rectify any issues, and it must align with the original project scope and agreement. Additional reshoots or significant changes to the project may incur additional charges.

Simple, just my camera with the occasion switch of lenses.

I do not have an additional back up camera, I do however have multiple, lenses, batteries, SD cards on hand when shooting.

Late Final Payment

Session times vary, they are displayed below the session type you selected in the services section. Little as 20 minutes for a mini or a deluxe that is 1-2 hours.

What should I wear for the session?
Coordinate, Don't Match: Instead of everyone wearing the exact same outfit, opt for coordinated colors and styles. Choose a color palette that complements each other and the setting.
Avoid Loud Patterns: Loud or busy patterns can distract from the subject, so it's generally best to opt for solid colors or subtle patterns.
Consider the Setting: Think about where the photoshoot will take place. Your clothing should fit the location and its ambiance.
Flatter Your Body Type: Choose clothing that flatters your body type and makes you feel comfortable and confident. A well-fitting outfit can make a significant difference in how you look and feel in your photos.
Layer and Texture: Adding layers, textures, and accessories can add depth and visual interest to your photos. Scarves, jackets, or statement jewelry can enhance your look.
Avoid Logos and Branding: Clothing with large logos or branding can be distracting in photos.
Timeless vs. Trendy: Keep in mind that trends come and go. If you want your photos to have a timeless quality, consider classic and timeless clothing choices that won't look dated in a few years.
Shoes Matter: Don't forget about your footwear. Choose shoes that match the overall style and formality of your outfit, and ensure they are clean and in good condition.
Grooming: Pay attention to grooming details like hair, makeup, and nails. Consider a professional hair and makeup artist if desired.
